What’s New in Power IQ 9.3.3

Power IQ 9.3.3 delivers support for up to three new custom dynamic plugin mappings to make it easier for you to manage devices with a shared device type via these plugins. 

For devices such as the Packet Power EG4 Gateway, which encodes a 64-bit unique device identifier or serial number into each OID as a four-part index (NodeId1 through NodeId4), these new parameter expansion mappings enable you to provide Power IQ with the full set of nodeId values 1 through 3. When paired with the proxyID (which represents decimal value of nodeId4), this configuration results in Power IQ knowing (via the plugin) all the required components of each device's full serial number. You can use these values to configure a single dynamic plugin that can manage all devices of the same type.
