What’s New in dcTrack 9.3.5

The following features are new or enhanced in dcTrack 9.3.5 for an easy, fast, and complete second-generation DCIM solution.

Tracking and Modeling of Liquid Cooling Infrastructure

Create, place, track and model liquid cooling infrastructure such as coolant distribution units (CDUs) and manifolds. This improves asset and relationship management of door heat exchangers and direct-to-chip cooling (without ports and connections) with improved visibility into liquid-cooled compute equipment like GPUs and supporting infrastructure and enables users to easily plan, manage, and perform impact analysis on liquid cooling deployments.

ServiceNow Connector Enhancements

dcTrack 9.3.5 includes three enhancements to the certified ServiceNow connector:

• Circular updates. All mapped fields are now bidirectionally synced upon initial item integration through circular updates.
• Improved performance for connector filtering. ServiceNow filtering is now applied as the first step in the sync process to immediately exclude unqualified assets.
• Apply all field mappings. Field mappings defined for a parent class, including relationships and filters, are automatically applied to all child classes, simplifying connector mappings for customers with complex ServiceNow CI tables.

Granular Dashboard Permissions for Local Users

Users with restricted permissions can access dashboards and view filtered chart widget data that includes only the data they have permission to see. This enhances security by ensuring users only see data for locations or items they are authorized to access and increases usability and data transparency for internal customers by allowing them to view charts and reports specifically for their owned assets.

• List view export to Excel with automatic column formatting
