What’s New in Power IQ: Microsoft Hyper-V Support

Previous versions of Power IQ allowed customers to run the application on VMware ESX/ESXi servers. In 5.1.2, Power IQ customers gain the flexibility to install Power IQ in the virtual environment of their choice. Installing Power IQ on a virtual machine enables users to increase efficiency and maximize resources while saving money, time, space, and energy.

The Power IQ application software, database, and hardened Linux® operating system are fully tested and ready to load on your VMware or Hyper-V platform in a single executable file so you can get up and running quickly and easily. For information on Power IQ virtual machine requirements for Hyper-V, see the release notes or the Power IQ online help on the support portal.

Other improvements in Power IQ 5.1.2 include support for Raritan PDU server reachability traps for enhanced server monitoring and updates to address customer-reported issues and security fixes.
